This Privacy Policy explains how Gouji VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') collects, uses, stores, and protects necessary personal information when you download, install, or use the mobile application (referred to as the 'App'). We process data only within the scope needed to provide and maintain the service.

When you download and launch the App, the system may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, app access paths, connection state, and session duration. To recommend nodes, troubleshoot failures, and improve stability, we may process approximate device location information. This data is used to: 1. recommend suitable routes based on Gouji VPN's node distribution; 2. identify regional connection issues through anonymized aggregate statistics; 3. send necessary service updates, safety notices, or account messages.

We only transmit anonymized or aggregated data to necessary third-party providers (such as Google Play Services, Firebase, etc.) for crash analysis, statistics, and feature improvement. Except in the following situations, we do not disclose personal information to third parties: 1. legal process or regulatory requirements; 2. protection of users' or others' life, property, or lawful rights; 3. cooperation with service providers bound by confidentiality duties to maintain the service. If you no longer want data generated by the App, you may uninstall it through your device's standard process.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and for a reasonable retention period afterward. If we discover that such information has been collected by mistake, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible. Guardians may also contact us through the same email address.
